Bios

• Mrs Shannon

  My husband Brian and I are parents of two amazing daughters and we recognize the importance of a safe and nurturing learning environment. Our family is the basis for the reason of why we chose Goddard. Our family enjoys spending time together traveling, swimming, playing tennis and golfing. I hold a Bachelor of Science degree in Human Development and Family Studies with an emphasis in Early Childhood Development. I am committed to providing the highest quality preschool experience for the children in Lakewood.

• Mrs Kaitlin

  Kaitlin has worked in Early Childhood Education since 2000. She earned her Director qualifications from RRCC and has been working as a Director since 2016. She has also earned her training and coaching credentials, and absolutely loves partnering with the teachers and families to make the first experience of learning a great one. Kaitlin is married and has 3 children, comes from a large family of 3 brothers and 3 sisters. In her free time she enjoys scrap-booking, cooking and reading.

• Mrs Lisa

  Lisa is married with 2 children, Eli and Sophie. She loves spending time with her family when ever possible and always like a day of just relaxing and hanging out. In her spare time she loves to catch a good movie and play with her dog Wesson. Lisa received her Lead Teacher qualifications from Community College of Denver and her Director qualifications from Red Rocks Community College. Lisa has worked in the Early Childhood field since 2000 and has been Directing since 2019. Lisa's passion lies with in the the education and care for young children. She strives to make sure that the first education experience a young child has is the best it can possibly be!

• Mrs Patti

  Patti enjoys cooking, baking, hiking, watching Big 10 sports and spending time with her family. Her passion for her family just spills over to her love for children and she knows the importance of the early childhood experience. She has an Associate's Degree in Business Management and brings 25 years of customer service and office management with her to this position. She also spent 10 years teaching in a Pre-K classroom.

• Ms Alannah

  Alannah was born and raised in Colorado, which will always be her home. Any chance that she has free time, she enjoys exploring the mountains and finding new breweries to try. She also loves to spend time with her 2 nieces and 3 nephews! Alannah was raised in an ECE environment where she was her mom’s #1 helper. As she grew, she became very fascinated and passionate about child development. This lead her to start teaching when she turned 16, and she obtained her CDA in 2020.

• Ms Alyssa

  Alyssa is one of the oldest of seven girls. She loves to go on adventures like hiking camping and trailing. She loves reading, writing, and spending time with family. Before becoming a teacher she was a certified nursing assistant. She has gained all of her experience at the same school and has taught infants through 12 years old.

• Ms Amy

  Amy is a Colorado native. She has three younger brothers and she enjoys almost anything that allows her to be creative. She enjoys reading and spending time with family and friends. She always wanted to be in the classroom and after a two year break she was excited to return. She graduated from the University of Northern Colorado with a degree in high school history and a minor in special education. She finished her teaching degree at Metro state University. She has experience in all age groups including toddlers and school age children.

• Ms Antoinette

  Antionette enjoys spending time with her family and friends. She likes to crochet and craft in her free time. She also loves music! Antoinette has worked in Early Childhood since 1996 with 13 of those years specializing in Pre-K. She has over 18 credits in ECE and is certified by the State of Colorado.

• Mrs Barb

  Barb's passion is giving children their first positive experience in a group learning setting, sharing their discoveries, and ensuring they have a nurturing experience from an early age. She has a CDA and have extensive courses in Early Childhood Development and Education. Barb has been working in the field of early care and development since 1984 and has been a teacher of multiple ages from six weeks to twelve years as well as an assistant director.

• Ms Brianna

  Bri was born and raised in Colorado and is a bronco fan. She loves animals, hiking, reading a good book and spending time with family and friends. She also adores her sweet dog named Tiny! Bri started working in childcare in 2019 where she found a passion for teaching young minds. Bri is also in the process of obtaining her CDA!

• Ms Brittany

  Brittany has worked in Early Childhood Education since 2021. She has two children of her own named Logan and Ariella. She enjoys hiking, reading, and spending time with her family. Her passion is teaching and she loves being the first step in a child's educational journey

• Mrs Candy

  Candy and her family have just moved here from New Orleans, she loves all things New Orleans Saints and Mardi Gras related. She has her degree in Speech Pathology and has worked with Deaf children for the past eight years.

• Mrs Hilda

  Hilda was born in Mexico Acuna Coauhli, grew up in California and moved to Hawaii Island where she has lived the past 28 years. She is married, has three grown children and one grand baby. This is what motivated her to move to Colorado with her husband and daughter. She has been working with young children ranging from birth to 12 years since 1990. Hilda has her CDA and has 21 credits in Early Childhood Education courses.

• Mrs Jamie

  Ms. Jamie attended Red Rocks Community College where she completed her Lead ECE teacher certification and has been teaching preschool/ Pre-K since 2018. She was born and raised in Lakewood, CO and loves spending time in the mountains hunting with her husband and hiking 14ers with her sister and dad. She also has a daughter named Sterling who shares her passion for nature and love of their pet Geckos and two Cats. Prior to joining the ECE family of teachers Ms. Jamie was a High School and recreational Gymnastics coach for ten years.

• Mrs Jocelyn

  Jocelyn was born and raised in Colorado, and is very passionate about kids! She enjoys learning new things about all of the kids in the school. In her spare time, she likes watching movies and reading articles. She has been working in the Early Childhood field since 2016. Jocelyn has completed her ECE classes to be Early Childhood Teacher qualified and is looking forward to completing more!

• Mrs Kaitlin

  Kaitlin has never been married and does not have children. She does have an 11 year old chi-wheenie that is her world. She loves animals, nature, art, and caring for young children. Kaitlin has an Associates Degree in Early Childhood Education from Pikes Peak State Collage. Kaitlin has worked with children since 2009.

• Mrs Keri

  Keri loves spending time with her husband, Nash, and baby boy, Landon. She enjoys snowboarding, camping, and going to the beach! She started working in the Early Childhood field in 2013 and graduated with a BS in Liberal Arts with a concentration in Early Childhood from Frostburg State University in Maryland.

• Mrs Kristin

  Kristin has lived in Colorado since she was five years old. She has two daughters, Amanda and Kaitlyn. Kristin loves camping and cooking. She attended Red Rocks Community College and received her Early Childhood Teacher qualifications. Her goal is to continue her education in Early Childhood. Kristin has worked with children since 1997 and loves to watch them learn different things and grow.

• Mrs Laura

  Laura has two daughters, Faith and Everly. She loves to travel and shop. Her favorite places to go are Disneyland and the beach. She worked at the YMCA as a site director before earning her CDA. She has been at Goddard since October of 2016.

• Ms Laura

  Laura is from Colorado and loves going on hikes, doing crafts, and spending time with friends and family. She has been working in the Early Childhood field since 2020, and has her Child Development Certification.

• Ms Lori

  Lori is the mother of 5 beautiful children, 3 boys and 2 girls. She is also the grandmother of 1 wonderful grandson. Lori is a native of Colorado and loves to go camping and traveling all over the state! Lori has been teaching for over 26 years. She has worked with all ages of children from 12 months to 12 years. She has always loves working with children and has a huge passion for teaching!

• Mrs Maria

  Maria is a native of Idaho, a loving mother of two beautiful children. She loves the spending time outdoors and dancing. Her love of children is what keeps her in this profession. She attended the Community College of Denver, which is where she completed the coursework to be Early Childhood Teacher qualified. Maria started teaching in Early Childhood in 1999 with 15 of those years spent in the preschool/pre-K classroom.

• Ms Marta

  Marta enjoys reading, traveling and being in the mountains. She has earned her Early Childhood Teacher qualification from taking courses in both Mexico and here in the USA. She has worked with children for the past 7 years and it is one of the greatest experiences of her life.

• Ms Oceana

  Oceana has her CDA and has been working in Early Childhood since March 2019. She lives with her long time boyfriend and cat. She likes cooking, doing crafts, singing, music and learning. During her spare time she enjoys gaming and creating nail art.

• Ms Priscilla

  Priscilla has two dogs, one cat and three reptiles. She loves music and art and danced for 5 years. She also loves to sing and read. Priscilla has worked in early childhood for two years and earned her level 2 credential in Colorado Shines.

• Mrs Stephanie

  Stephanie was born in Colorado and comes from a large family with 11 siblings. She is married and a mother to her wonderful son. She enjoys playing sports, watching movies, doing arts and crafts and walking her dog Mila. Stephanie has worked in ECE since 2018 and has worked with all ages.

• Ms Terrell

  Terrell is a proud mom of an 11 year old daughter and a 21 year old stepson. Time with her family is her favorite thing along with traveling, movies and swimming. Her wonderful husband indulges her every once and awhile and sits though a karaoke night out! Terrell has been expanding her career in early childhood since 2023. She took classes on Colorado Shines to become lead qualified. Her education is growing and ongoing both inside and outside the classroom.

• Ms Tyirah

  Tyirah is married with two wonderful sons. She is from Blytheville AR Where she received most of her teaching experience. Tyirah Attended Arkansas Northeastern College where she completed most of her Early Childhood courses. She also completed courses on Colorado Shines.

• Mrs Veranika

  Veronique has a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Studies and a bachelor’s degree in Secondary Education. She has been teaching since 2000. Veronique is an avid hiker. She loves camping and exploring Colorado all year round. She also enjoys yoga and biking. She is excited to share her love of arts and crafts with her students.

• Mr Avi

  Avi is a cowboy at heart. He loves working with horses and the great outdoors. Curiosity and the need to clean get the best of him. He is a food lover and enjoys anything with an engine. His favorite thing to do is some R&R and enjoying t.v. After high school, Avi attended trade school and community college. He comes from a family of educators and administrators. He has also worked as a camp counselor, couched youth sports. He is also growing and learning in the education field.

• Ms Haylee

  Haylee has a wonderful young daughter named Natalee. Haylee loves hanging out with her family and friends. Her favorite color is blue. In her spare time Haylee loves to color and watch good movies. Haylee graduated from Elizabeth High School in 2023. After graduation she moved to PA where she started her journey in childcare. After about a year, she moved back to Colorado where she is still enjoying working with children.

• Ms Heather

  Heather is a Colorado Native who loves being outdoors, and hanging out with her family and animals. Heather enjoys concerts and sports games, and spending lots of quality time with herself. Heather graduated highschool in 2021 and started working as a nanny in 2023 then, began her career in Early Childhood Education in 2024.!
