Originally from Fond Du Lac, Wisconsin, Cori moved with her family to Arizona as a child. She received her undergraduate degree in exercise science from Northern Arizona University in Flagstaff. It was while working as a physical therapist that Cori realized she loved having direct contact with patients. She went on to earn a Master of Science as a physician assistant (PA) from Midwestern University Glendale in Arizona. Cori's career as a PA began at a family medicine practice. She found that she enjoyed getting to know the entire family and practicing a little bit of all kinds of medicine. She also spent six years working in an urgent care facility where she was able to expand her medical knowledge. Her clinical interests include pediatrics, genetics, and preventive medicine. “It can be challenging and fun to work in acute care, but I am excited to get back into practicing family medicine. I love the lifelong relationships I have the opportunity to build with each patient, and the bond that is formed when they know I will be taking care of them for the long haul." Married with two daughters, Cori and her family are active Coloradans. They live in the foothills and can often be found skiing, hiking or snowshoeing, depending on the season. In her downtime, Cori enjoys quilting and reading.
