• Primary Care Medicine

  Providers at MedNOW Clinics provide comprehensive medical services typically seen in primary care. These services includes well person care in the form of routine physicals, well-child care, vaccination updates and counseling on a variety of issues. We welcome you to schedule an appointment to discuss any of these services.

• Pain Management

• Well Woman and Well Man Examinations

  At a typical well woman or well man physical, our providers will: Review patient’s medical history Review surgical history Perform an age-appropriate physical exam Review and administer vaccinations Obtain diagnostic information as needed such as urinalysis, blood work, and imaging studies Discuss healthy dieting and exercise Assess sleep patterns Assess mental health During this appointment, there may be time to discuss specific medical concerns, but the focus is on the patient’s general health and well-being. The patient may be asked to return to the clinic to address specific medical concerns in more detail.

• Well Child Care

  At a well child visit, the focus is on the general well-being of the child or adolescent. A medical, developmental and surgical history is obtained. An age appropriate physical exam is performed. Social, school and home life issues are discussed. Appropriate testing such as urinalysis or blood work is also performed. The patient may be asked to return to the clinic to address specific medical concerns in more detail.

• Urgent Care

  Patients frequently get sick or have injuries at inconvenient times. Our goal is to offer walk-in, same day or next day appointments so that we can help you start feeling better as quickly as possible. Our providers have extensive experience in urgent care, and we treat a wide range of acute illnesses such as shortness of breath, non-cardiac chest pain, influenza, sore throats, headaches, back pain, rashes, food-poisoning, and bladder infections, to name a few. We also treat injuries such as lacerations, eye injuries, strains, sprains and fractures. We have a full service lab, EKG, nebulizer therapy for asthma attacks, and can have results available the same day if needed. Our Denver office has x-ray capabilities right on site. We strongly encourage you to call our office first, day or night, to determine the best time and place to receive care. We will make every effort to be here for you when you need us for urgent care needs.

• Specific Chronic Medical Concerns

  Our providers are well-versed in the treatment of chronic medical problems such as high blood pressure, diabetes, and high cholesterol. We have extensive experience in the management of mental health concerns such as depression, anxiety, attention deficit disorder and PTSD. We treat many chronic orthopedic conditions such as osteoarthritis and chronic low back pain.

• Immigration Medicine

  Our providers are Civil Surgeons and provide comprehensive civil surgeon services at reasonable prices. We complete I-693 forms for immigration physicals. We perform citizenship exam disability assessments with the N-648 form. We also provide medical hardship evaluations. If you are working with an attorney or independently we are happy to assist you.

• Citizenship Exam Disability Evaluations

  Immigrants wanting to become citizens of the United States must complete the steps outlined on the attached form: Link to “How To Become a USA Citizen”. In certain circumstances an immigrant is not able to complete portions of these requirements due to health concerns. As a civil surgeon Dr. Moore is well-versed in these requirements and is also experienced in guiding patients through the process of obtaining a medical waiver to exempt the immigrant from completing certain aspects of the citizenship process.

• Addiction Medicine

  Opiate Addiction Opiate overdose is a leading cause of death in America in people age 20 to 40. MedNOW Clinics recommends our own ARCH Detox to provide comprehensive services to treat addiction to opioids, which includes prescription drug overuse/abuse and heroin use/abuse. Dr. Moore has been a certified Suboxone provider since 2013. Dr. Shah and Dr. Saproo are also certified Suboxone providers. Treatment of opiate addiction in our program may include the use of Suboxone and other forms of buprenorphine, as well as the use of other medications to treat withdrawals and cravings, such as clonidine, ondansetron (Zofran), trazodone, hydroxyzine, gabapentin and naltrexone. ARCH Detox also offers the newest form of buprenorphine, the implantable Probuphie medication, which is implanted under the skin and will provide buprenorphine for a continuous six month period, as well as the buprenorphine monthly injection known as Sublocade. Dr. Moore also has extensive knowledge in the use of oral naltrexone, naltrexone implants and intramuscular monthly Vivitrol for ongoing suppression of opiate cravings. Alcohol Addiction and Alcohol Use Disorder Dr. Moore subscribes to a harm reduction model of treating most alcohol use disorders. Twelve step programs, abstinence, intensive out-patient and in-patient rehab facilities also benefit patients, and we are happy to assist patients find programs in the Denver/Aurora area. Dr. Moore will also provide medical support for patients interested in 12 Step programs. The overwhelming majority of evidence-based research demonstrates that for most people, medical treatment with medications combined with intensive counseling is the most effective way to treat alcohol addiction. Our program incorporates the use of medications such as naltrexone, Campral, gabapentin and baclofen, medications that have proven results in reducing alcohol use. In combination with ongoing psychological counseling, our program will give a patient the best chances of recovery. At MedNOW we believe that cognitive behavioral therapy and motivational enhancement therapy, along with medically-supervised prescription medication will provide you with the tools you need to control drinking alcohol. MedNOW works with several psychologists and therapists in the Denver metro area. There are several web-based resources for patients suffering from alcohol overuse. Many of these resources have tools that have been well-studied and have been found to be effective in controlled trials. Unlike most pain management clinics, MedNOW Clinics has specific pain management protocols. We encourage patients to become familiar with our chronic pain mangement protocols and controlled substances agreement prior to the first appointment. • Vasectomy

  Vasectomies are performed at our Logan Street clinic. Dr. Fernandez has been performing this office-based procedure for 18 years. The procedure typically requires several visits, one to discuss the procedure, the second to perform the procedure, and then a follow up procedure. The patient is frequently given an oral sedative and driving after the procedure is not recommended.

• Esthetic Services

  Botox Botox is used by many patients to reduce forehead wrinkles. Jaime Woodruff, has been administering Botox to our patients for 5 years. Please make an appointment for this service at our Denver office. Kybella Kybella is a prescription medication used in adults to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin (submental fat), also called double chin. • Weight Loss Program

  MedNOW Clinics provides comprehensive weight loss management services, including diet and exercise counseling as well as medication management for weight loss.
